Celebrate the first official fall weekend with outdoor fun that includes pumpkin picking at Farmer in the Dell just outside of Auburn!
Besides pumpkins, the farm is full of family fun! For instance, kids can dig in the corn trough, wander through the crop maze, hang out with farm animals, play in the hay and go for a hayride. Plus, there are fields of photo-worthy sunflowers!
When it comes to pumpkin picking at Farmer in the Dell, visitors pick them right off the vine! Prices vary based on weight with a minimum cost of $3. Find pumpkins in every size, shape and color on the farm.
Guests are welcome to bring blankets and picnic baskets, and even pets on a leash. However, be aware some dogs may need a muzzle too. For more information or questions, email the farm at [email protected].
Location and Hours
Farmer in the Dell is located five miles from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine on Wire Road. As of last weekend, the farm is open for the season Thursdays and Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m., and Saturday hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Next month, the farm will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Columbus Day, Monday, October 11th. For the last two weeks of October, the farm is open from 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well.
